Many folk have gone into gaming and other intensive graphic applications realizing they need to upgrade the graphic card. One important consideration before you do is read the box and find what the minimum power supply demands for it to run. The power supply is critical in your computer and upgrading components that demand more than it has can have fairly disastrous consequence, production of the magic smoke. Make sure your expansion slots work for the graphic card and absolutely make sure your power supply can handle it.
